About the interning organization: WXRT-FM is looking for enthusiastic summer interns who are eager to learn the dynamics of a large market radio station. WXRT has been nationally recognized as one of Chicago's most legendary rock stations. Throughout the internship experience, interns will be representing the radio station at many of Chicago's largest and most exciting events, including street festivals and concerts.

Intern responsibilities: WXRT summer interns will be closely involved in all integral areas of a radio station, which include Marketing and Promotions, Sales, Production, and Programming. Representing WXRT in a public relations capacity is an extremely important role as an intern, and will contribute to the station's overall image and success.
